Jing Jie is a recent graduate from NUS Law and is currently the Head of Legal Affairs at Cyber Youth Singapore (CYS) and a Trainee Solicitor at Aquinas Law Alliance LLP. He practices corporate and commercial law and assists in coming up with legal opinions and regulatory advice concerning financial technology, blockchain, Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) and DeFi products. He is also involved in assisting tech startups and crypto exchange platforms with their fundraising documentation and general compliance matters. He has an interest in the FinTech and Blockchain space and was formerly part of the secretariat team at Blockchain Association Singapore (BAS), spearheading various large scale events like the Singapore FinTech Festival 2022 and Singapore Blockchain Week. He believes that law is a critical enabler to the tech industry and regulations exist to minimise risk on consumers.
